I am only one, Edward Everett The good news is that, though we are individuals, we are not alone. We would like to thank you for responding to our Poll (which we will keep posting until we have received sufficient input as to be representative of you,) and for your positive comments and encouragement. We promise to pursue our efforts to inform , touch and share with you our unique vision and that of others. In Headlines, we have opted for updates of some of our earlier feature stories, the Amadou Diallo case and the London bombings, and to give you links to humanitarian NGOs for those of you who wish to contribute to alleviating the sufferings of others. A belated Happy Mother's Day is celebrated in the Images section, while Maria Bethania and Caetano Veloso are featured in Sounds. These Brazilian musicians will make you wish you were in Bahia then and there (and should you need a travelling companion, I can make myself available for as long as you want !) or, at least, will have you rushing to the nearest music store. Words introduces the interracial issue, that you asked we feature, with glossaries of terms that pertain to the subject AND the many ways to say "I love you" for the multilingual romantics you are, be they spaced out. Society welcomes our latest contributor, Trey D aka Mr. Destiny, who will keep us appraised as to the world of Hip-Hop in its many facets from hereon. Finally, Humor and Forum (with the Poll) offer their usual fares of cartoon, jokes and reader comments. Enjoy Jungle Echoes #10 !
